THE EVENT

Hummelstown Hunger Run/Walk is a family-friendly fundraising event always scheduled for the second Saturday of May each year. All proceeds benefit the Hummelstown Food Pantry.
 
All registrants will receive a gift bag that includes a race T-shirt, etc.  Registrants and volunteers who bring a non-perishable food item for our collection bin will be entered into a drawing for one of the many gift certificates provided by our local sponsors.  Each year, the event hands out over 100 gift certificates!

Enjoy a run or walk along the beautiful streets of Hummelstown while supporting a great cause.

All proceeds benefit the Hummelstown Food Pantry, which currently has 116+ families (197 adults and 148 children) registered who qualify for food assistance within the 17036 ZIP code. The pantry serves 70-80 families weekly. The Pantry also provides each family with turkey and special fixings at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Pantry is busy as it receives new applications for aid weekly. The organization is proud to say that it is completely staffed and managed by volunteers
